Another fundamental parameter that has to be meassured in test benches, specially in electric brakes, RDI brakes, hydraulic brakes or magnetic dust brakes, is the torque or force that appears in each systems moment.
For these measures they use, principally, the torsimetres without contact and the cell charge extensiometres. The advantages of the torsimetres is its excellent precission, its fast assembly and as it has no contact with the system, its minimum wear. In additionn, building up an acustic wheel type accesory, they are able to measure revolutions. its own inconvenient would be the economic cost. The load cells would have a lower cost and enough precission for most of the applications. They have to be assembled in a balanced system that could detect the deformation produced in the system in each moment.
